Where LISD uses tax dollars
I am always thankful when people ask me about how Leander spends the money collected in property taxes. Why? It’s because we all can be very proud of how carefully the money is used.
How as a board and a district, we have consistently pushed to make the most of every dollar we have to provide our children with the best possible education.
All information here is available freely from the district. I’m presenting it here so you don’t have to dig through the complete budget.

The sections in blue are spending that is directly associated with serving the students of the district. The green sections are for spending on Community Services, Plant Maintenance & Operations, Security & Monitoring, Data Processing Services and Administration Costs commonly referred to as School & Infrastructure Support.
